The 2K Marketing Team is comprised of experienced and talented marketing professionals and an exceptional communications team working together and across the company to create memorable and innovative campaigns for 2K’s latest offering.
What We Need:
The Senior Director of Marketing will drive the Americas and ANZ Marketing Strategy and lead execution of integrated marketing efforts. The role will develop go to market plans for each market in the region and manage cross-functional teams to ensure those plans are executed effectively and optimize as needed to meet business and marketing targets.
What You Will Do:
Reporting to the VP, Global Marketing, you will lead marketing strategy and execution for Americas and ANZ.
Hire, manage and grow team of talented direct reports managing team performance review, development/growth plans for a high-performance team.
Build integrated marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement, and purchases for allocated products, for both launch and lifecycle.
Develop specific marketing plans for in game events/promotions/partnership activities and determine the communication and go to market execution plan to drive awareness and engagement and sales in Americas and ANZ.
Lead development and management of marketing budget proposals, demonstrating clear understanding of the business targets, audience (and how to reach them). Including ideas for growth that may require more funding or ideas for efficiency or budget reallocation.
Lead development of paid media plan and own relationship with media agency.
Write media strategy, brief and manage agency through creation of full cycle media plan, in partnership with global brand and performance marketing teams. Take lead in driving the agency for more transparency on what is working and what isn’t and ability to continually optimize away from low impact/efficiency media, as well as driving innovation/media firsts to reach our different audiences in an impactful way.
Lead development of retail/promotional marketing plan in collaboration with channel/sales team, driving innovation and ensuring best possible allocation of budget v targets for both launch activities, as well as the yearly promotional calendar. Manage day to day relationship with sales and channel team and monitor promotional sales results to ensure targets are being met, learnings are registered and incorporated into the next promotional plan.
Input into business targets, promotional pricing plans, digital v physical product sales plans and then ensure this is translated into relevant marketing plans/actions.
Liaise between media and creative teams to build relevant Americas and ANZ assets for paid media & retail campaigns within required timelines and ensuring relevant and contextual as well as ‘on brand’ creative is delivered. Lead to rethink our retail creative to drive awareness of the promotion/sale, without diluting the brand of each game.
Contribute to global marketing strategies ensuring Americas requirements are being met.
Liaise with Performance Marketing, Commercial and Analytics teams to mine data and insight into game behaviors, sales achievement, audience/consumer behaviors, paid media KPIs, creative usage/engagement, CRM results in each relevant territory, developing actions for marketing to continuously optimize and strive to exceed targets.

Manage and lead direct reports to provide timely updates, assets & direction, and manage timelines to ensure all milestones are achieved throughout planning and execution phases.

Experience developing regional marketing strategies based on global brand framework
Experience strategizing & executing paid media campaigns. Experience managing media agency from client side preferred.
Experience strategizing & executing retail marketing campaigns
Above average knowledge of videogames
Ability to seamlessly integrate into existing marketing team, and build trust and credibility with product development, commercial, and other internal & external partners
BA / BS and MBA preferred
