What We Need:

We are looking for a creative marketer with a strong foundational understanding of player acquisition and retention to develop and manage the global strategy for all Firaxis titles. 

Under direction of the Director of Global Marketing, the Brand Manager will use consumer and business analytics to help define and execute the global strategic vision, driving the creative development across all marketing communications including key art, packaging, advertising creative and media, trailers, social media, events, web, and retail working with our internal teams, external agencies, and development partners. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative, strategic global marketing plans based on key consumer insights that will inform local territory go-to-market plans.

What You Will Do:

Be the global ambassador of the brands, creating and presenting plans to senior management and the international marketing/sales teams as well as developers

Help develop and execute the global brand strategy and guidelines for assigned products, and coordinate with game development teams and partners for sign-off on product vision, strategy and business goals from concept throughout the entire lifecycle of the product

Work with the growth and analytics team to identify game and player trends to drive business recommendations

Identify and advocate initiatives that will improve player acquisition and retention

Drive CRM and promotional efforts in partnership with the digital sales and marketing teams

Consult with product development teams to ensure products meet relevant positioning, are feature competitive and relevant supporting assets are produced and delivered according to schedule

Manage creative asset development, including, but not limited to: key art, packaging, advertising creative (TV, outdoor, digital,) video, social media, sales support and point-of-purchase materials, promotional merchandise and events/activations) from brief to final delivery with agencies and in-house creative departments, and ensure campaign messaging aligns with the overall brand strategy

Maintain deliverable dates and be accountable for timely delivery of global marketing materials

Lead collaborative cross-functional team meetings to ensure the communications strategy/execution, and international go-to-market plans are aligned with the global brand objectives

Coordinate with the Partnerships & Licensing team to identify and establish strategic co-marketing programs

Maximize retail marketing effectiveness in conjunction with Channel Marketing Team while providing support to Take-Two sales force

Drive global initiatives to gain consumer insights, test positioning, messaging, and creative and analyze consumer research and business data to intelligently guide marketing strategies and investments

Manage title marketing budgets; authorize, manage and track expenditures

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required. MBA preferred.

Minimum of 4 years consumer product marketing experience with demonstrated track record of planning & executing creative marketing programs on a global level, preferably digital-focused

In-depth knowledge of the Video Game market, preferably with a passion for strategy games

Understanding of games-as-a-service, live ops, virtual goods and emerging technologies and trends

A strong foundational understanding of both consumer research and business analytics

Preferred experience with online user acquisition or retention marketing, with a focus on data analysis, campaign optimization, and reporting

Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication/presentation skills, and a proven ability to work collaboratively across a number of internal, external and international teams

High degree of comfort managing multiple projects

Results-oriented, self-motivated, extremely organized and detail-oriented

Moderate travel required (industry events, developer visits, sales support / satellite office meetings.)
