The NBA 2K Marketing Team is comprised of experienced and talented marketing professionals and an exceptional communications team working together and across the company to create memorable and innovative campaigns for NBA 2K’s latest offering.

 

What We Need:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Live Services Marketing, the Manager of Live Services Marketing will play a critical role on the NBA 2K Live Services Marketing Team by designing cohesive and seamless player journeys and compelling content that drive engagement and loyalty. This role is primarily responsible for motivating players to engage with NBA 2K by delivering content against key moments in the player’s user journey and leveraging behavioral and transactional data as well as automation tools to deliver highly personalized messages and content, at scale.


This role will work with leadership to define when, where and what content our players see at critical moments in their network progression, across Dynamic Omni Channel Messaging channels.

 

What You Will Do:

Partner with teams to increase the lifetime value of our players by implementing approved strategies that guide how game teams take advantage of the personalization tech and tools available.


Project manage opportunities that NBA 2K is undertaking to enhance and improve its infrastructure and processes.


Day to day management of the global plan implementation including creating content briefs, content calendars and other required tasks to deliver on Live Services marketing objectives.


Support Senior Manager, Live Services Marketing as one of the key points of contact for live services programs.


Develop reporting and analysis to ensure plans are based on current insights and learnings.


Structure A/B and/or multivariate tests to optimize campaigns.


Understanding of our player segmentation approach and evangelizing across all Marketing channels.


Support implementation of strategies for reaching cohorts and player segments based on business goals of assigned channels.


Be a customer centric advocate within 2K Marketing and Brand, ensuring the highest quality interactions with the customer across Live Services.

 

Core Competencies:

Live Services Strategy - Working across engagement, retention, monetization and models to drive player/consumer engagement, long term retention and business growth through monetization within the gaming or interactive entertainment space.

Strong Communicator – Requires the ability to have influence and impact within a matrix organization both across departments and across geographies.

Topical Knowledge – Have a passion for basketball and video gaming. Knowing the NBA and its athletes will be key to developing Brand strategy and growth across social channels while creating content relevant to our community.
