About the Team

Stitch Fix’s Warehouse Inventory Management Systems (IMS) team is looking for a mindful, empathetic, and self-aware Engineering Manager. In this role, you’ll manage the team responsible for evolving and transforming our Inventory Management Systems as SaaS across our fulfillment network. We build modern software with modern techniques like Test Driven Development, continuous delivery, DevOps, and service-oriented architecture. We focus on high-value projects that solve clearly identified problems and are developed sustainably. 

About the Role

We create tools that support the responsibility of bringing inventory into our company and moving that inventory around in our warehouses, providing the entire Stitch Fix engineering organization with stable and reliable messaging capabilities focusing on self-service platforms. On this team, you will manage a team that has experience with backend technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Sidekiq, Datadog and more. The ideal candidate will be able to learn our systems while thoughtfully organizing the team around business goals and supporting team members' career growth along the way.

Compensation and Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market. This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. Salary Range
$218,000$232,000 USD
