Overview

SeekWell is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Software Engineering to lead our horizontal technology teams. As a pivotal member of our leadership, you will drive the engineering strategy, execution, and innovation across key areas of our company like call center, fulfillment, insurance, and RX. This role requires a dynamic leader with a track record of successfully rolling out technology strategies which help us accomplish our business outcomes.  

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 
  • Develop a technology strategy which will support our business growth objectives and our technology and financial objectives.  
  • Define and execute a technology roadmap that aligns to our technology strategy and ensures a stable, scalable, and secure technology foundation. 
  • Collaborate with product management, data engineering, data science, and other cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable software solutions. 
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, code quality, incident management, and agile methodologies. 
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality releases. 
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market. 
  • Partner with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals. 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external technology partners and vendors. 

What You Bring to the Role

  • 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Proven experience in scaling engineering teams and managing complex technical projects. 
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software development practices, technologies, and methodologies. 
  • Business and technical domain knowledge in the areas of fulfillment and contact center. 
  • Experience with a diverse set of databases and data platforms. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives. 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. 
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale, high-impact software solutions. 
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
