We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Strategic Planning Analyst to join the Global Planning Organization.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning and driving the Inventory Charter, creating and implementing global inventory strategies, and ensuring 10x meets its Inventory and Turns objectives.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Accountable to develop and implement the company’s Inventory Charter, focused on achieving 10x inventory and turns objectives
  • Identify inventory reduction opportunities: continuously analyze existing process and identify new opportunities to drive efficiency and improvement
  • Inventory Forecasting: Develop tools and utilize systems to generate an ongoing forecast of both inventory and receipts
  • Accountable for Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory, implementing standard work, reporting, and strategies with cross functional teams to minimize E&O and drive zero waste. .
  • ECO management – monitor all ECO activity via CCB and implement early identification of inventory risk and mitigation
  • Establish Tier 1 and Tier 2 reports and metrics to ensure alignment of goals and targets for all stakeholders
  • S&OP: Support the inventory aspects of the S&OP process. 
  • Safety Stock Optimization:  Establish the safety stock policy for the company and implement controls to balance inventory and customer service levels. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8 years’ experience in a related role
  • Effective team player who possesses strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency as to objectives and timelines, while maintaining flexibility to shifting priorities
  • Ability to analyze and resolve planning problems independently.
  • Strong sense of financial acumen
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks independently 
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and problem-solving skills in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills, contributing to effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Candidate with experience in life science planning
  • Experience in ERP systems, Oracle Cloud

Below is the base pay range for this full time position.  The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package.  This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.  Your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company’s total compensation package during the hiring process.
