10Beauty, located in Burlington, MA, is building the definitive Intelligent Beauty company, leveraging robotics and automation to reimagine how people can interact with machines on a service level. Position Introduction:

10Beauty is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who will play a crucial role in owning and ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of change control processes, creating tests to validate our products as well as a proven track record of implementing and maintaining robust quality processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive continuous improvement in change control processes to ensure that changes to products, processes, and/or systems are documented, reviewed, and approved in accordance with established procedures
  • Manage the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) program for compliance to internal procedures, ensuring timely resolution of planned activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of proposed changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in inspections and work instructions to ensure that the product is being built to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify the Engineering Pilot builds through mass production
  • Travel to supplier locations to support the builds or testing needs
  • Oversee the creation, review, and maintenance of quality documentation and records
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduce nonconformities

 

What you have:

  • 6+ years of experience of related Quality Engineering experience with consumer products, throughout the product life cycle from concept to EOL
  • Proven experience in effectively performing change control initiatives and CAPA programs
  • Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies and their integration into quality processes
  • Proven track record of successful supplier collaboration, including the qualification and oversight of suppliers
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality systems and processes
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (~30%)
