This Sales Intern will work closely with our cross functional team members including Americas Sales, Field Applications Engineers (FAE), Product Line Management, and Product Application Engineering to add value to Astera Labs business and learn the basic functions that promote accelerated growth and customer obsession. This individual will be expected to meet certain deliverables that are highlighted below and will have an assigned mentor to help provide guidance to enable advancing these deliverables.

The key responsibilities are:

Responsibilities

  1. Compile a research project across Astera’s major customers to improve knowledge base of opportunity size and potentially valued feature sets.
  2. Meet with Astera Labs product line managers to become educated on Astera Labs products and customer applications.
  3. Work side by side with existing field team by shadowing Sales and FAE to understand roles and responsibilities.
  4. Leverage knowledge gained from products, market research and customer experience to create a pitch for a potential customer.
  5. Proactively contact new accounts and provide technical touch points to assigned customers.
  6. Initiate, maintain, and track customer support inquiries.
  7. Support Sales Operations to improve CRM data integrity.
  8. Collaborate with Product Marketing team to drive customer outreach with personalized messaging to target different segments.
  9. Organize and facilitate group-wide training sessions to help the field team stay up to date on technical details.
  10. Prepare a presentation for executive management review to showcase learnings throughout the internship and build a repository of key account collateral.

Qualifications

  • Attending University (currently Junior or Senior year)
  • Electrical Engineering or Business major preferred
  • Eager to learn
  • Excellent communication, organization and project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial, open-minded behavior, positive attitude & team player
