We're in search of a seasoned and innovative Head of Product to lead the charge in shaping our product strategy, working closely with founders, engineers, and business teams. Your role? To be the driving force behind our AI generative video technology offerings, with closely with and reporting directly to the executive leadership.
Imagine crafting a cutting-edge product vision and surfacing it to developers, turning complex AI concepts into user-friendly features and experiences. You'll be the mastermind behind our roadmap, using market insights to stay ahead of the game. Whether you're mentoring a tight-knit product team or spreading the word about our groundbreaking tech, get ready to shake things up and have a fun doing it!
Your Mission 🚀
- Craft and communicate a compelling product vision that is founder-led and market aligned by leveraging technical expertise to translate complexity into tangible features and experiences
- Collaborate closely with founders, ML engineers, software developers, and business teams to develop and execute the product roadmap, fostering alignment and driving innovation across diverse functions
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, utilizing insights to inform strategic product decisions and maintain Tavus' competitive edge
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for the product vision, and collaborating with executive leadership to align product strategy with company objectives
- Collaborate with design partners to develop solutions that meet requirements and address user pain points effectively
- Eventually build out and oversee a product team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to drive results and foster a culture of continuous learning and growt
- Demonstrated experience leading product organizations with complex products, at an early stage start up
- Technical background with a solid understanding of software development
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize market data and customer feedback to inform product decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and growth in a dynamic startup environment
- Experience working with AI technologies is a plus but not required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential
Please note that this position is a hybrid in San Francisco and we offer relocation.
