JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager
LOCATION: Gurgaon, India
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:
Google products are used by billions of users everyday. As a marketing manager in Google’s consumer marketing team, you will be working towards driving user growth of Google Search in India. You will be partnering with cross-functional teams across Google to ensure the successful execution of the product & marketing strategy. You will support the development of high-impact marketing campaigns to drive adoption, and increase usage of products through user insights and product marketing. You should be able to independently liaise with senior stakeholders and also be liasoning between our agencies (media, creative, research).
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Responsibilities will include:
- Define the marketing strategies and activities to drive product growth.
- Manage and execute complex marketing initiatives with cross-functional teams. Work with agencies and internal teams to define branding, campaign development, and execution.
- Develop in depth understanding of users and market to consult on product development for Search in India.
- Work closely with the cross-functional team to build a successful programs.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing.
- Passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.
- Keen interest in and understanding of technology and the Internet.
- Outstanding organizational, analytical, and written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products.
