Senior Tax Associate 

NDH Advisors LLC (“NDH”) is a Chicago-headquartered public accounting firm offering best-in-class tax, accounting, and personal finance services to dynamic businesses, high net-worth individuals, and family offices throughout the United States. With offices in Chicago, Kansas City, Houston, and Philadelphia, we are seeking an energetic tax professional to support our growing practice. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, exceptional leadership qualities and at least three years' public accounting experience. Excellent communication skills are required.

The candidate will report to the firm’s Managers and Partners and will work directly with clients to provide tax preparation and consulting services. Candidates will be required to prepare workpapers, research complex tax issues and communicate effectively  to clients. Candidates should enjoy working in a deadline driven environment with demanding clients.

We are accepting resumes consistent with the following background and ability:

  • Accounting Degree from an accredited four-year university;
  • CPA designation or has made progress toward passing the exam;
  • 3+ years’ experience in a tax-focused position;
  • Proven understanding of complex accounting entries;
  • Experience preparing tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Corporations, and Trusts;
  • Success in prior work experience with the ability to self-manage, prioritize assignments and interface with clients;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to communicate complicated matters to clients or government agencies;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to multi-task;
  • Enthusiasm for technical topics and interested in learning opportunities via research, CPE and discussions with peers;
  • Contributes to an established culture of positivity and respect;
  • Self-motivated to seek new projects. Recognizes strengths and weaknesses and appreciates peer feedback;
  • Availability to work in the Chicago office at least 3 days per week.
