As a Design Director focused on Bubble Shooter, Solitaire Match 3, and Pyramid as well as MobilityWare’s other core games, you will help lead the creative vision for new revenue-generating features that delight our customers. Working with Product Owners, Producers, and a team of Designers that you mentor, you will help define and drive a powerful roadmap for some of the best loved and most played games on the app stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with studio leadership to identify and guide implementation of successful IAP features in Bubble Shooter, Solitaire Match 3, and Pyramid
  • Generate effectively balanced economies that level-up monetization
  • Mentor other designers in data-driven design
  • Be a relentless advocate for the customer
  • Respectfully discuss, review and refine designs with stakeholders
  • Be a leader in creating a positive, collaborative environment

Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of professional experience working in design on Casual Mobile games
  • Experience creating successful features on a game with more than 1 million MAU
  • 5+ years of professional experience effectively balancing in-game economies and IAP
  • Successful experience mentoring a design department
  • Demonstrable experience in using data and analytics, and also guiding others to use them, in order to understand and meet both customer and company needs
  • Broad design expertise that includes new feature ideation, feature documentation, level design, and economy development
  • A growth mindset that embraces continuous learning
  • Positive attitude with a desire to be a driving force of a friendly, upbeat, and supportive development environment

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing compensation for this role.  The range listed is just one component of MobilityWare’ s total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. The pay range annual base salary for this role is $170,000-$230,000.
