We are seeking a new team member to play a key role in expanding our brand story by joining our Dallas Studio. As a member of our sales team, you’ll work both in Studio and in client homes to consult them on furnishings, design, and assist with purchases. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about design, is excited to exceed sales goals, and wants to be part of a team that is disrupting the industry through a transformative experience. 

This is a full-time role, working in-store at our Dallas studio in Texas.

What you’ll do:

  • Meet sales and productivity quotas monthly.
  • Manage the complete selling process from customer first touch to purchase execution and ensure the customer experience is exceptional at every step along the way. 
  • Work with clients in-person and in their homes, to create beautiful designs on the Havenly platform. 
  • Utilize your interior design expertise to assist clients in one on one consultations, both in-home and in the Studio to help them design their homes and drive studio sales. 
  • Meet with clients in their home to accurately measure and assess their living spaces
  • Be an expert on our product offerings and design services, effectively communicating features and benefits to existing and prospective clients. 
  • Stay up to date on all sales and promotions offered in order to proactively communicate with your clients and achieve/exceed established sales goals. 
  • Field inquiries and sell to clients over the phone, email and through virtual appointments.
  • Proactively and in a timely fashion communicate with your clients and respond to their inquiries.
  • Help cultivate our brand in Dallas, building a community around our new market.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-3 years experience in competitive sales or providing Interior Design service, preferably both. 
  • Ability to build/maintain a client base and provide creative furnishing solutions for client needs. 
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding given targets and sales goals. 
  • Proven success in managing multiple client projects, deliverables, and communications simultaneously. 
  • An impeccable eye for design, and the ability to design within a range of budgets and style. 
  • Proficiency in both Photoshop and a floor planning software. 
  • Proficiency in the Mac Operations System, IOS devices and Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Calendar.
  • Physical requirements
    • Licensed to drive preferred.
    • Ability to travel locally. 
    • Ability to lift and mobile small to medium items up to 50lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines. 
    • Ability to maneuver effectively around the studio floor and stockroom.
    • Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing.

Additional Details: 

  • This is a full-time exempt position located in Dallas, TX.
  • Targeted compensation range for this role: $70-75,000 OTE year, dependent upon experience. OTE is a combination of base salary plus commissions (60/40 split).
