Overview

Join our team for the Goodnotes marketing campaign as a versatile Experiential Marketing Specialist on a contract basis, focused on managing and coordinating live marketing activations around the USA. You as an independent contractor will play a key role in our offline brand experiences, showcasing and promoting our product in a live and engaging environment.

If you are enthusiastic about crafting memorable experiences, possess extensive product knowledge, and excel in dynamic in-person event environments, then this is a perfect opportunity for you to work with a leading, award-winning app!

You will have several Roles and Responsibilities related to consumer engagement including, but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage consumers to share the USPs of the Goodnotes app to increase brand awareness and positive discussions around the brand.
  • Communicate brand-specific messaging and distribute promotional materials.
  • Execute event planning, logistics, and partnership activities.
  • Coordinate merchandise from logistics to audit to required locations.
  • Oversee technical and event production, managing project plans, vendors, and more.
  • Provide onsite support for in-person events, coordinating site representatives, vendors, and logistics.
  • Create memorable live brand experiences by engaging event attendees and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Maintain product displays, ensuring they are presentable and appealing to the public.
  • Be a product expert, embody brand values, and maintain a positive and professional image.
  • Gather insights and feedback from live events to contribute to product improvement and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, or creative agency roles.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel to events approximately 1-2 times a month (varies based on event calendar).
  • Relevant exposure to product specialist or similar roles within the experiential marketing space.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills to set up on-site technical support.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • May be required to travel when necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs when required.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in fluctuating temperatures.
  • Ability to work under adverse situations and conditions (e.g., dirty, noisy, etc.).
