About the team:

Goodnotes is dedicated to transforming the way educators teach and students learn. Our Apple award-winning app is designed to enhance academic engagement, improve learning outcomes, and facilitate seamless digital classrooms. As we expand and scale our business and distribution networks in our strategic markets globally, we seek a dedicated Channel Account Executive to join our dynamic and fast growing team.

About the role:

The Channel Account Executive will work closely with the Global Channel Lead and play a crucial role in establishing a channel function at Goodnotes. They will help grow Goodnotes’ business through Channel Partners to develop sales strategies that drive and propel the partner’s sales team to meet or exceed the pipeline goal and revenue targets set forth. This role is pivotal in providing sales, technical, and operational training and support to resellers and their sales teams, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed. In a few selected strategic markets, the Channel Account Executive will also engage directly with end customers, when business requires.

This is the role for you if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Collaborate with the Global Channel Lead to develop and implement effective channel strategies to scale and business with key partners, in enterprise and education sectors, with Goodnotes and Goodnotes Classroom. 
  • Deliver compelling presentations and workshops that highlight the value of partnering with Goodnotes. 
  • Promote Goodnotes’ partner program and ensure the right execution with partners including onboarding requirements, sales readiness training, and education on the resources available to new partners.
  • Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to partners, covering technical aspects and best practices for deploying and using Goodnotes products.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of the regional Apple channel landscape, including current channel networks, trends, challenges, and opportunities for digital integration. 
  • Serve as a primary contact for channel partners and connect with their product and sales champions in their organization to facilitate collaboration between our Academic Affairs team to offer expert advice and solutions to enhance their experience with Goodnotes Classroom. 
  • Contribute to the development of onboarding, training, and sales materials tailored for channel partners.
  • Assess partner’s performance against established goals, in pipeline and revenue, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate in pipeline creation and opportunity closing.
  • Support channel partners in order processing and fulfillment, ensuring smoothness and effectiveness in the entire selling process, from initial quoting and closing.
  • Augment the channel approach and engage directly with end-customers in selective strategic markets when necessary.

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Channel selling experience in related industry with demonstrated ability to develop and execute partner strategies and joint revenue targets
  • A deep understanding of the Apple channel ecosystem, with experience working directly with education and enterprise partners
  • Knowledge and experience working on Apple Business Manager, Apple School Manager and Mobile Device Management solutions (eg Jamf) preferred 
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and is a dynamic, confident presenter with the ability to engage and influence educational stakeholders. 
  • Strong technical operational proficiency, with experience and ability to quickly learn and use CRM tools
  • Adept at managing numerous partners and opportunities at the same time and skillful in managing conflicts in channels and opportunities level
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. 
  • Willingness to travel as and when business requires

  • A call with our Global Channel Lead to discuss your background, skillset, and the role in more detail. This is the person who will be managing you day to day, working on your growth and development with you as well as supporting you throughout your career at Goodnotes
  • A call with our VP of Operations
  • A meet-the-team call with 2 or 3 GoodPeople you’d be working closely with at Goodnotes
