Role Overview:

Texting has quickly become the standard of quick and easy communication in our personal lives, so why are we stuck using outdated and slow tools like email in our work lives? At Cotap, we’re changing the way people communicate at work by bringing quick, 1-to-1 and group mobile messaging to the enterprise.

We’re looking for an Account Executive to be a founding member of Cotap’s sales team.   • Building strong, long lasting relationships with key stakeholders (LOB execs, IT execs, Customer Champions).

  • Diligent and organized approach to guiding prospect through Cotap’s purchasing process.

  • Disciplined documentation of account details including known and possible use cases, influencers, purchase time frames, and next steps in Salesforce CRM.

  • Constructing, forecasting, and managing your sales pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals.

  • Deliver comprehensive product demos, answer technical inquiries, and recommend compelling ways to get the most out of Cotap for Business.

  • Contributing to the formation of the Cotap’s sales operations including outlining a repeatable selling motion and drafting sales enablement materials.

  • Providing feedback gained from talking with prospects/leads to Customer Experience and Business Development management.

  • Ensuring 100% satisfaction with all users and customers


  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university

  • 3-4 years prior successful SaaS selling experience

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to understand the needs of customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Technically adept, experienced with mobile and web technologies

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines in an early-stage startup environment.

  • Ability to conceptualize / explain complex concepts and ideas in a clear and concise and manner.

  • Fluency in CRM. Familiarity with marketing automation software highly desired. Experience with chat systems desired.
