What We Need:

This position is a key leadership position in the Asia region. You will report into the General Manager of APAC and will play a key role in contributing to the overall business plan and strategy which translates to a comprehensive marketing plan supporting our business goals.

In this role, you will be responsible to deliver the agreed revenue and player targets for the console and PC business by delivering effective marketing strategies and campaigns, as well as identifying growth and efficiency opportunities for the region.

What You Will Do:

You will be required to work closely with the Business Units and other Centralized Services in the organization to define and lead Asia marketing priorities including required level of investments, being data-driven and building upon the global brand positioning, for on brand and locally relevant marketing efforts in the region.

Establishing a comprehensive network within and across the region, you will gather important market intelligence and disseminate into recommendations and strategies, as well as partner with relevant functions to support decision making and business development.

You will work with the regional execution teams to ensure marketing priorities are aligned and that the marketing efforts are orchestrated with global and local expectations.

You will be responsible to:

  • Develop and drive key console and PC marketing initiatives/ programs that achieve business objectives, manage timelines and key deliverables across teams, while bringing compelling and epic experiences to players at the same time.
  • Lead the regional team with clarity and empathy, collaborating on plans, over-communicating goals and strategies, relentlessly removing roadblocks, and championing the product in Asia.
  • As the Asia Marketing lead, you will work with the Business Units and Centralized Services team in the organization as well as other Asia stakeholders to be the voice of Asia on specific topics for product development, business excellence, brand growth opportunities and establish integrated marketing plans for the region inclusive of player journeys, paid media, PR, Events, and Influencer to support the brand and product plan.
  • Define the ideal organization structure to deliver the agreed regional strategy and build a world class marketing team.
  • Build scalable and repeatable marketing processes to ensure consistency across teams while driving performance-based results.
  • Lead efforts in the region to understand the value of marketing including what is working and what isn’t and be in an always on optimization mode to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work with global and regional partners to build a comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of the player journey including needs, pain points, and aspirations resulting in plans/recommendations for player touchpoints.
  • Work with relevant teams to input into product requirements to support Asia growth, ensuring a solid business case to justify the investment and answering the ‘why’ to prioritize Asia product development.
  • Collaboration and alignment - listening first, articulating goals, and whenever there are gaps, finding common ground across development, regional, and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with our creative teams to create assets that both resonate with players and are tailored for console and PC platforms. Ensure creative/brand consistency across all player touch points.
  • Be cognizant of what you know, and for what you don't know seek honest answers through subject matter experts, data, analytics, surveys, and focus

Who We Think Will Make A Great Fit:

  • You will be an experienced professional marketing and management professional with a proven successful track record of building and leading multi-cultural international teams within a well-regarded and branded gaming, technology and/or entertainment company.
  • Ideally you have mobile or F2P gaming or entertainment experience and can demonstrate hands on experience or a deep appreciation and understanding of this space
  • Extensive experience in 360 marketing efforts including marketing strategy, paid media, PR, Digital, Influencer in the capacity of localizing global strategies as well as building bottoms up strategies for Asia specific products.
  • Ability to understand the business perspective of a company beyond marketing and Asia.
  • Ability to partner with sales, business development and other business functions to create a collaborative marketing plan that will ensure success in market awareness and business targets.
  • Experience of managing executive level client relationships.
  • Excellent management capabilities with ability to lead teams with differing levels of skills and experience.
  • Strong understanding of the cultural nuances and business etiquette between various Asian countries.
  • Experience working across the Asia region preferably in roles with an Asia wide remit.
  • Deft ability to build and maintain relationships across teams, departments, regions, and broad organizations.
