Schrödinger seeks a Science and Technology Support Scientist to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.
As a member of our Life Science team, you’ll be responsible for pre- and post-sales software support (including demonstrations and training for optimal use of our life science softwares), facilitation of interactions between customers and product development teams, and providing general scientific guidance. In addition, research content that has shown good results (and can be made public) can be submitted to scientific magazines.

What you’ll do:
- Explain life science software to customers in a post-sales setting
- Help create a better modeling environment for users in life and materials sciences by explaining the benefits of new or under-utilized features in technical meetings
- Create research/calculation examples using said software
- Train and offer technical support to software users
- Prepare and translate technical materials between Korean and English
- Present at academic meetings, conferences, exhibitions, etc.
- Lead seminars/workshops held at our offices
- Execute or support contract analysis and research service
What you’ll need:
- A Master's degree or higher in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field
- Experience using task scheduler systems such as Grid Engine, PBS, and SLURM
- Some experience with Jaguar and Desmond
- Native Korean language skills and working English skills for emails, preparation of reports, web conferences, and teleconferences
